This painting was created during a “for fun” painting session with my six year old daughter Laurel. She was using watercolors and crayola crayons which I began to experiment on my canvas while we painted together. With my daughter at my side, I worked over it with oil paint and finally applied a sealing coat of varnish. What started out as “just for fun” evolved into a finished piece portraying the coast of California which I love so much.
